Allow me to introduce the powerful food called blue green algae (BGA). BGA is high in dietary nucleotides (more on this below); extremely rich in minerals, with a higher concentration of beta-carotene than broccoli; loaded with antioxidants; a great source of omega fatty acids and extremely alkaline. It is comprised of about 60 to 70% of vegetable protein, and provides all the essential amino acids. This makes it a wonderful complete protein source for vegetarians and vegans and those who may need to consume less animal protein. A rich source of calcium, iron, vitamin B12, enzymes and antioxidants blue green algae is an ideal food for both adults and children. Even pets can benefit greatly from this nutrient-packed food.
High quality blue green algae is a potent and potentially healing food, but it is important to remember that the power of blue green algae lies in it’s purity, freshness and bio-availability. If it is not harvested from a clean source, properly tested for harmful microorganisms and processed in a way to retain nutrients it will not live up to its superfood claims. I would like to share with you what I have found to be potent and pure source of BGA called E3 Live .

E3Live™ Ginger Zing Smoothie
1/2 cup fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 cup pineapple
1 banana (frozen if you want an icy smoothie)
1/4 to 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger root
1-3 tbs E3Live™
Add all ingredients to blender and process until smooth.
“Transitional” E3Live™ Smoothie
2 frozen bananas (or regular bananas and add ice)
1 oz E3Live™
1 cup pure water
1 cup nut milk (homemade or unsweetened almond)
3 tbs organic cocoa or raw cacao powder
2 tbs agave syrup or desired amount of stevia
Optional: 2 oz pomegranate or other concentrated pure juice
This is an excellent recipe and does not look “green.” It is ideal for your children or hesitant family or friends who may be turned off by green foods. After they have been drinking this for awhile, let them help you make this. You can gradually change and adapt ingredients, leading to more green color showing, maintaining good taste, and hopefully, they, too, will change their awareness and diet to a healthier level!
